Get Involved — Volunteer!

The Foster City School PTA has a long-standing tradition of supporting our school through the dedicated efforts of parents and caregivers. We invite you to join us in continuing this tradition by volunteering your time and skills.

Volunteering offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with our school, contribute to our community, and make a meaningful impact on our students’ lives. We encourage every parent to find a way to participate that fits best with your schedule and interests.

Our goal is to achieve 100% participation with 10 hours of volunteering per family each year—just ONE hour per month!

Here are some ways you can get involved:

• Attend PTA meetings
• Help with preparations for PTA meetings and publications (newsletters, websites, flyers, posters, etc.)
• Volunteer at PTA-sponsored events (Book Fair, Falcon Fest. Socials, Fundraisers, etc.)
• Serve as a committee chair or room parent
• Chaperone field trips
• Assist in the classroom, library, computer lab, and more

Don’t forget to record your hours! You can enter your volunteer hours as often as needed. This helps us maintain our federal tax-exempt status and allows us to celebrate the contributions of our wonderful volunteers. Use this link to record your volunteer hours.
